Abstract
Sulima reviews Andrzej Gwoźdź’s books on media research, which he collectively names the project anthropologizing media sciences. Sulima claims that books and anthologies - either authored or edited and co-edited by Gwóźdź - were instrumental in specifying the basic qualities of the so-called new media. One of them is the concept of inter-medially opening media sciences to an anthropological comprehension of culture and blending reflections on old and new media. Sulima discusses issues raised in the anthologies and joint publications to say that Gwóźdź proposes anthropology of culture with „media coefficient”.
