Abstract
Archival material containing three censorship-stopped reviews of Kazimierz Dejmek's Forefathers' Eve written in December 1967 for the weeklies by Anna Tatarkiewicz (Więź), Witold Filler (Kultura), and Zofia Jasińska (Tygodnik Powszechny). In the introduction, the editors indicate the locations of the later publication of two other reviews detained by censorship in December 1967 (written by Zygmunt Greń and Maria Czanerle), six reviews that appeared after the premiere in the last days of November 1967 in the dailies, and a Gdańsk review published after the play was banned in 1968.
